A/C Sleeper Berth
The buses on this route are operated by Hung Thanh, with air-conditioned 35 berth sleeper buses.
If you're heading south from Hanoi, you shouldn't miss Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and one of the greatest adventures that Vietnam has to offer, the amazing caves of the area. About 9 hours away by bus - and a sleeper
bus is a great option for heading down there - lies the National park of Phong Nha, with some of the largest caves in the world, including the largest found anywhere on the planet, Hang Son Doong. While an adventure
into there will set you back over $3000USD (and needs to be booked months in advance), there are plenty of other options which you can fix up once you get down there. A day/night adventure into Hang En and Tu Lan caves
including an overnight camp within the caves themselves is possible, or just day trips into Paradise Cave or Dark Cave - which are still mind-blowing, and extremely accessible - on our first visit to Phong Nha we trekked into Paradise when our
two kids were 2 years old and 4 months old, so anything is possible!
